This is where Emotional Freedom Technique, often called ‘tapping’, becomes a powerful tool.

What is EFT?

EFT is a gentle, science supported therapeutic technique developed in the 90’s and rooted in ancient wisdom. It works by tapping on specific meridian points on the face and upper body while acknowledging what is currently causing a disruption. This somatic process can shift old patterns from the nervous system, not just the mind. And the best part is… it works quickly.

By pairing mindful language with tapping, it helps calm the stress response. This technique can support anyone navigating big ideas, deadlines, creative demands, or the vulnerability of putting themselves out into the world.

Why Someone Might Use EFT

Many people think they need more motivation, structure, or discipline, however, feeling stuck can often be attributed to an underlying emotion.

  • Procrastination is protection. When something feels important, visibility can feel risky. EFT helps release the fear so action becomes natural.
  • Self worth is often tied to output. When your work is an extension of you, rest can feel like failure. EFT helps untangle identity from productivity so you can create from vitality.
  • Burnout that does not resolve. You take can take the weekend off, yet Monday still feels heavy. EFT supports your nervous system at a deeper level so days off become restorative.
  • Imposter syndrome. Even successful people can feel like they’re faking it. EFT softens these stories and invites confidence.
  • Emotional residue from the past. The nervous system remembers criticism, pressure, or
    embarrassment. EFT releases emotional charge so your present isn’t ruled by your past.
