James Malone from Lime & Sober Life Coaching
James Malone of Lime & Sober helps others break free from alcohol and build healthier habits. With a background in mindfulness and now part of the Martha Beck Wayfinders Life Coaching Program, his supportive approach and sense of humour make the journey to wellbeing feel lighter and more achievable.

At Lime and Sober, the heart of what I do isn’t just about sobriety — it’s about helping people reconnect with themselves. Through coaching, I work with people navigating neurodiversity, addiction, and the many life challenges that can come with them. Whether someone’s just starting their journey or rebuilding after years of struggle, my goal is to offer real, practical support that’s grounded in experience, empathy, and shared experience.

When I founded Lime and Sober, it was never about offering a one-size-fits-all program. Every person’s story is different, and the coaching reflects that. Some of the people I work with are managing sobriety alongside the realities of neurodiversity, while others are trying to rediscover purpose after years of feeling stuck. Whatever the starting point, the focus is always on creating a life that feels meaningful and sustainable.

The idea for Lime and Sober came from a commitment to something deeper than just being alcohol-free. It’s about living with clarity, honesty, and resilience — and building a life you don’t have to numb yourself to survive.

This work is deeply personal to me because I know what it’s like to walk these paths. I know the courage it takes to ask for help and the strength it takes to keep going. Lime and Sober exists to remind people that change is possible, growth is possible, and that nobody has to do it alone.
